Diversity and inclusion are not just buzzwords at Systal; they are essential components that enable us to thrive as a business. Embracing diversity means recognising and valuing the unique perspectives, experiences, and contributions of every individual, regardless of their background, gender, ethnicity, or neurodiversity.
We are excited to be celebrating this International Women’s Day with a range of sessions dedicated to recognising women’s achievements, raising awareness of discrimination, and taking action together to drive gender parity.
One of our internal sessions focuses on our Project Services team as they continue to #InspireInclusion at Systal. In a sector with a stark gender divide where men outnumber women 3:1, our inspirational female leaders are pathing the way to gender equality.
Here’s what our VP of Global Projects, Davina Glading, had to say about breaking barriers in the tech space and the vast benefits of having a gender-balanced team:
“Having a gender-balanced team gives access to such a wider talent pool which brings together different perspectives and optics to any challenges that arise. Embracing different learning styles and utilising different skill sets has many operational benefits. While men tend to be more visual and tactile in their learning style, women tend to be much stronger aurally and by ensuring equity in these styles we can promote a balanced workforce which fosters enhanced creativity and innovation.”
By creating an inclusive workplace culture that celebrates gender diversity, companies can unlock the full potential of their teams and drive innovation forward.
